Call for Indie Ebook Award Judges

Indie Ebook Award LogoCalling all voracious readers! LJ is hosting its second annual Indie Ebook Awards, and we’re looking for discerning librarians to serve as judges. Volunteers are asked to assess books in one of five categories: romance, sf, fantasy, mystery, or YA. This is a great opportunity to discover and support indie authors. Initial judging will begin in May. First Round judges will help narrow the submissions to a small number of finalists in each category. A final judge in each category will select one winner and two honorable mentions. Final round judges will also write a review for each winning title and honorable mention, which will be featured in the December 2016 issue of Library Journal. Interested librarians should email Kate DiGirolomo with the following information by May 1: name, library affiliation, and at least two genre preferences. Please indicate if you’re interested in being a First Round or Final Round judge.
