As their wedding date draws near, Ray and Kip decide to go on an early honeymoon at a lavish couples-only resort. With a decade’s difference in their ages, Ray and Kip couldn’t be more different. Millennial Ray is a journalist known for his tell-all confessional stories, while Gen-X Kip is an established doctor who values his privacy deeply. When they arrive at their elegant getaway destination, they are forced to confront unresolved issues they’ve ignored for years, opening up arguments that threaten their future together. Ray, a lifelong hopeless romantic, realizes that he has to balance his desire for an extravagant dream wedding against Kip’s reluctance to be in the limelight. And Kip has to come to terms with how his need for privacy intersects with his internalized homophobia. With their wedding only two months away, the couple find themselves at a crossroads, questioning whether their love is strong enough to overcome these challenges.
