This latest from Dean (Solace in Scandal) features exceptionally strong characterization and a captivating plot. Readers will care about what is happening, making this a quick experience. Add in the hot sex, and you can’t go wrong.
Some issues with timing make the story less believable. Also, this reviewer found McKenna hard to like, though Wyatt and his daughter are appealing characters. Recommended with reservations; fans of the series will want to keep up.
Rhone creates wonderful characters that touch readers' hearts. With a suspenseful plot, hot sex, and great protagonists, this title is highly recommended.
The last half may be a little rushed, but Paton (Hoodwinked Hearts) creates characters readers can care about; highly recommended for those who like their love stories with a little humor and a lot of sex.
Debut author Rhone does an excellent job with the dialog and the suspenseful plot. This reviewer had no idea as to the identity of the stalker until the last part of the book. Recommended for romance lovers who like a little humor and a lot of intrigue.
Rhone continues to write characters about which readers care. The sex is hot, and the dialog is solid. Perhaps the extent to which the two sets of parents go might be a little far-fetched, but you will never look at politicians the same way again (or maybe you will). Highly recommended.
All four stories are exceptional in describing the time period. The plots are compelling, as are the romances. For all romance and historical fiction collections.
Thomas is exceptionally good at character development, and readers quickly care about all these flawed folks with hearts of gold. The plot keeps the pages turning and answers the question of will there be a happily ever after for this sympathetic crew. Highly recommended.
