Indie Ebook Award LogoLJ is hosting its second annual Indie Ebook Awards, celebrating the best self-published titles in romance, mystery, sf, fantasy, and YA. The competition, open through July 31, 2016, is accepting English-language self-published ebooks for which the author holds the copyright and the rights to digital distribution. All submissions will be evaluated by committees of librarians—as well as last year’s sf winner, J.K. Ullrich—and supervised by LJ editors. One winner and two honorable mentions from each genre will be selected. Winners shall receive $1,000. All winners and honorable mentions will also receive:
  • A full LJ review
  • A promotional ad in LJ’s December Issue
  • Recognition at the LJ Self-Published Ebook Awards reception at the American Library Association's (ALA) 2017 Midwinter Meeting in Atlanta
Interested authors or librarians who would like to get their local writers involved can go to LJ's information page for more details.
