Best Books is just around the corner. We will announce the lists online on December 4. As the day draws nearer, here is one last title from 2022.

Excuse Me While I Disappear: Tales of Midlife Mayhem by Laurie Notaro (Little A) is a great pick for year's end. Memoirist/funny person Notaro takes on middle age in this laugh-a-page account of growing older (and in the case of 50-plus women, becoming invisible). Fortunately for fans and those in need of a lift, she’s not going quietly!
