Executive Merry Anna is newly divorced and living in Antler Creek, NC, in an effort to prove to her ex-husband that if she can live on the amount of alimony she’s paying him, then he can too. Merry Anna enjoys working in a small store on Main Street, and soon, she meets cowboy Adam Locklear. He, however, has no time for anything related to love—his life is all planned out. Then Merry Anna catches his eye, but things get complicated when a former fling shows up with a little girl and claims Adam is the father. Can Adam and Merry Anna make it work despite all the challenges? The narration by the talented Caroline Cole, brings the residents of Antler Creek to life. Cole does a wonderful job of giving each character their own voice. The novel is full of sweet moments, conflict, romance, and faith.
