Since the embarrassing incident at Delaney McFarland's debut, she has realized that a love match is not in her future. A marriage of convenience would be best for her situation—not only for her own pursuits but for those of her future husband as well. With plans under way to entice a penniless rake, the last thing she needs is interference, especially from Mr. Griffin Croft.
