Life sends a few curves, however, and they may realize their individual hopes have changed. Van Hulzen's second entry in the series (after A Recipe for Romance) does a satisfying job of providing depth and background for characters in the novella format.
VERDICT Mike and Franchesca are fully realized and have a well-developed tension as they circle each other throughout the story. More time spent with Franchesca and Annalise would have been appreciated but only to help cement Franchesca's later decisions. A sweet romance to continue the series.
