Terrifying, grim, and downright creepy, this is one that may give you second thoughts about visiting the Oregon coast (sorry, Oregon) and is definitely one you don't want to read alone at night. Best-selling authors in their own right, Jackson lives in the Pacific Northwest, and Bush lives in Oregon.
