The Temple of Persephone

DEBUT Persephone Honeyfield has lived a sheltered life on her father’s English country estate, surrounded by bees and books, until a quest to find her late mother’s book of mythology leads to the neighboring estate of Gallowsgate. Thinking it abandoned, Persephone is shocked to be caught trespassing in the Gallowsgate library by none other than Aidon Barrington, the handsome youngest Barrington son and owner of the estate, whom the London scandal sheets have dubbed “Lord of the Dead” due to his family’s funeral business. Being caught in the library alone leads to a union and a wedding that Aidon finds himself admitting is just a little too right. What Persephone doesn’t know is that Aidon hides a secret that overshadows their new marriage.
