The Evidence Next Door

Harlequin Intrigue. (Kansas City Crime Lab, Bk. 3). Jun. 2023. 256p. ISBN 9781335582737. pap. $6.25. ROMANTIC SUSPENSE
Grayson Malone, Crime Lab blood expert and Marine veteran, is still having a hard time coming to grips with his double amputee status. Allie Tate, his physical therapist who also happens to be a veteran, has a stalker and a past she cannot get away from. Neighbors and friends, Gray and Allie find themselves working together to keep her safe. But there is no denying their attraction, and soon sparks fly.
VERDICT Miller writes another deliciously tantalizing “Kansas City Crime Lab” novel (following Decoding the Truth) that will keep readers up long into the night. Technically the third book in the series, this title can be read and enjoyed on its own and is an excellent choice for fans of Nora Roberts, Colleen Hoover, and Nicholas Sparks.
