Up-and-coming actor Dax Martin is tired of waiting for his best friend, and long-standing crush, security expert and bodyguard Mason Naylor, to get his act together and see what’s right in front of him. So he manufactures a need to move in with Mason temporarily. Turns out, the need is more real than either of them know. When death threats rock Dax’s movie set, followed by an attempt on his life, Mason decides that Dax will not leave his sight. He may act like he is unaffected by Dax, but the truth is he’s been fighting an attraction he feels is inappropriate for many reasons, not the least of which is the 18-year age difference between them. But when Mason sees Dax about to get a better offer, he can no longer stay silent, consequences be damned.
VERDICT While the characters might seem silly at times and the situations are somewhat easily resolved, the end result is fun, and the secondary characters seem to guarantee the fun will continue throughout this series from Olsen (Hate To Love You).
