Prosecutor Kendra Spade is summoned back to her family home to help STEALTH with a legal issue; bondsman Trent Lockwood is adjacently involved in the issue. When Kendra stumbles across a double murder while Trent is tailing her, they find themselves working together. The author plays fast and loose with laws and legal realities, and thoughts and actions are heavily dramatized.
VERDICT Fans of the TV show Suits and Hallmark Channel movies might enjoy this, but libraries with tight budgets can safely skip it.
