From Killing Eve and Schitt’s Creek to Sex and the City and Happy Days, he gives readers an inside look into how fashion helped create some of TV’s favorite characters. He also profiles some of the people behind the camera who made the costumes happen. The featured TV series span several genres, including dramas, comedies, and variety and reality shows. Photographs complement each entry, and sometimes there are sketches of the characters in some of their most iconic looks. This book also includes interviews with the actors and stylists who created and immortalized them. Rubenstein’s enthusiasm for his selections struts off the pages and will likely inspire readers to go watch some of the shows they might have missed.
VERDICT A great addition to collections. Fashion lovers, aspiring fashion designers, and TV fans will devour this book.
