Claiming His Convenient Princess

Harlequin Romance (Scandal at the Palace, Bk. 3). Aug. 2023. 256p. ISBN 9781335596345. pap. $7.25. CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
Prince Liam Sokol of Prosperita is feeling the pressure to get married, and with no prospects of his own, he agrees to let his father arrange a marriage for him. When he learns the name of his father’s top choice, Demi Viglianco, he meets with her in secret to see if she even wants to be his bride and the future queen. After their meeting, they agree to go separate ways, but then Liam learns that Demi’s father plans to marry her off to a cartel leader instead. He can’t leave her to that fate, but he’s not sure if the two of them can really work together.
VERDICT An absolutely engrossing royal contemporary romance from Meier (Off-Limits to the Rebel Prince) with some solid chemistry between the protagonists.
