For those unfamiliar with the series, this is standard romantic suspense series fare: heroine in danger turning to an old flame for assistance. It is both readable and comforting in its relative predictability.

Fans of Fox's previous series ("Coltons of Texas"; "Dangerous in Dallas") will find here a more innocent and realistic romance in a story about two people who find happiness through craft beer.
