Olivia’s scientific gifts will draw in and delight fans of bluestocking romances, such as Tessa Dare’s A Week To Be Wicked, still this classic Regency series will be most appreciated if read in order.
Jeffries (“Sinful Suitors” series) explores the cultural mores of early Regency London to weave a tale of blackmail, spies, and a Season debut. Joshua is a fascinating hero, the only untitled male among the series’ rather gentried family and always aware of the fact. There is an overarching series mystery developing, but readers yet to pick up the previous title, Project Duchess, shouldn’t be deterred.
Stinging wordplay, well-conceived characters, and an ingenious plot result in a story that adds another winner to Jeffries's popular series. Jeffries (The Pleasures of Passion) lives in Cary, NC. [Previewed in Joyce Sparrow's "Love Is All Around," LJ 10/15/17.]
A spirited and unconventional heroine playing a dangerous game of revenge and a responsible hero determined to keep her safe overcome their mutual marriage resistance in a story that series fans are sure to adore. Jeffries lives in Cary, NC.
Stunned when her husband, a man she thought lost at sea six years earlier, returns just as her betrothal to another is announced, a young woman struggles to regain her husband's love and trust...
Graced with pleasingly wrought characters who develop beautifully and a crafty villain you'll love to hate, along with clever dialog and rapier wit, this compelling, deliciously seductive story takes the classic marriage of convenience to a new level and sets the stage for the next in the series. A delectable and rewarding read. Jeffries (The Art of Sinning) lives in Cary, NC.
Marriage-wary protagonists spar their way to love as their prickly exchanges turn romantic, then sinfully hot in a complex story that gloriously launches Jeffries's new series. Although the story stands on its own, there are enough references to characters and events from previous books (primarily the "Duke's Men" titles) to make reading the earlier works recommended. Jeffries (If the Viscount Falls) lives in Cary, NC.
