Birnes, consulting producer and host of History's popular TV series UFO Hunters, presents his second companion book, after UFO Hunters: Book One, to the show that spanned three seasons between 2008 and 2009. This latest work echoes the format of the first, featuring chapters on various episodes, this time from Seasons 2 and 3. Each chapter covers the UFO event that was documented in the episode while offering additional information and behind-the-scenes insights. This rather long work would have benefited from photos to break up the text and to add more personality to the narrative. While the author's experiences are interesting, when he examines what he refers to as "debunkers," and seemingly tries to apply scientific methods to the UFO sightings covered, his conclusion is always that the sighting is extraterrestrial in nature.
VERDICT For fans of the series UFO Hunters and those with a strong interest in ufology. Purchase only if there was patron interest in the first book.
