In this book, their charming designs for Nordic-inspired garments and accessories are for babies and children to utilize during the summer months. The book’s pictures of the children modeling the designs capture the sheer joy of the end products, which include socks, caps, rompers, and more. Some of the patterns even come with matching adorable doll versions, which make easy gifts for others. While several of the patterns are beginner-friendly, this book is more appropriate for experienced knitters who do not need much guidance. The fussiest of patterns, however, possess whimsical charm compounded by practicality, making these projects well worth the effort.
VERDICT Suitable for libraries with robust selections of knitting books but not for the faint-of-heart fiber artist.
