This sequel to Dickey's Naughty or Nice revisits the McBroom sisters and the relationship problems they have in and outside the bedroom. The focus here is on Tommie and her man Blue; on the surface they appear to be a happy middle-class couple raising Blue's precocious daughter, Monica. That is until Tommie sneaks off to dive into a buffet of sexual escapades with a wealthy author with the odd name of Beale Streets. Sister Frankie angrily dumps Franklin, a guy she was hot over, when she finds out he's married. Last but not least, Livvy encourages another woman to join her and her man Antonio in an erotic three-way rendezvous. The McBroom sisters certainly feel that a bit of danger mixed with romance leads to enhanced sexual eruptions—until a stalker breaks into Frankie's home and samples her personal belongings.
VERDICT Despite the occasionally clunky prose ("It was love at first sight for you as it was love at first sight for me"), a thrilling ending and loads of hot sexual gymnastics will draw Dickey's many fans.
