Twelve jumbo-sized amigurumi animals are showcased in this book by crochet designer and artist Bergstrom (101 Super Cute Things To Draw). Most amigurumi pattern books are written for a medium (worsted) weight yarn. In order to guarantee maximum huggability, however, Bergstrom designed these patterns specifically for super bulky yarn, which guarantees larger and more cuddly results. But all the patterns can be made with worsted-weight yarn if the crocheter wants a smaller outcome. The patterns range from aquatic animals (platypus, narwhal) to pets and those mostly seen in a zoo (lion, elephant).
