From May 3-16, San Francisco Public Library patrons will be able to return overdue books and materials without penalty. The fine amnesty program’s key spokesperson is Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the US Airways pilot who earlier this year guided his plane to a safe landing in New York City’s Hudson River, taking four library books with him (initially reported to be just one).
