Shade was hoping the reunion would be his chance finally to ask Lizzy out, but the past seems to be working against him. He figures three days at a ranch for the reunion might give him an opportunity to pursue his goal, but the killer has other plans.
VERDICT Veteran author Daniels’s latest (after Luck of the Draw) has a bit of a slow start, but once the action picks up, it doesn’t stop.
