Wedding Dashers

With just 83 hours to go before her sister’s destination wedding, Ada’s international flight has been cancelled. Unfortunately, that’s par for the course in her recent string of disasters, including her boyfriend of eight years asking to take a break. On top of that, Ada is stranded with Jack, the womanizing best man of her sister’s beau. When Jack mistakenly assumes they are about to sleep together, Ada is convinced that he’s as arrogant as her sister claims, but after seeing him do everything from change a tire to mend a veil, she must admit the man has skills. In their cross-continental dash to the wedding, it’s unclear what will get the best of them first—enmity or attraction. McBreen makes a delightful debut with this amusing contemporary romantic comedy. In a “behind the book” section read by the author, McBreen discusses the transportation inspiration that led to many of the misadventure moments. Narrator Brittany Pressley gives an engaging performance of this fun, feel-good story.
