Intrepid and dedicated entertainment reporter Harper Jenkins is at the top of her game. Her passion for the job has led her to some of the best industry scoops and great relationships with celebrities, but her boss does not seem to appreciate her work or her talent. Harper is shocked when he hires a new editor whom she’ll be working closely with—Ryan Jansson, a former coworker and boyfriend who broke her heart years ago. They clash at every turn, but working with Ryan becomes easier when Harper realizes that there is more to him than she imagined. However, the uncertain future of their magazine threatens drastic changes in their departments, and her miserly boss seems to be eyeing her editorship with an axe.
