When the precarious truce is broken and the Locksley children are stolen, Robin and Marian look to those around them for assistance, including the old ghosts within Sherwood.
VERDICT The first of the “Locksley Chronicles” (Heirs of Locksley is due out in Aug.), Vaughn’s (The Immortal Conquistador) look at what comes after Robin Hood is a delightful novella, filled with lively action and characters who continue to stretch the original story even further.
