Detailed entries for 90 chronic conditions, including seizure disorders, heart disease, hearing loss, and war syndromes, offer contact info and websites for national and state associations, support groups, foundations, and research centers. The work concludes with general resources, such as lists of wish foundations and bereavement support services.
VERDICT This comprehensive volume, written in supportive, nontechnical language, is a solid option for public libraries; retirement and assisted living center libraries may also wish to consider.
