The Black Ghost

Following the tragic death of her brother, self-destructive Lara Dominguez leaves Miami to work as a crime reporter in Creighton, a mid-Atlantic city overrun with crime and corruption and protected by a masked vigilante called the Black Ghost. Assisted by a mysterious tipster known only as Lone, Lara begins an investigation into Creighton’s latest crime lord and soon finds herself face-to-face with the Black Ghost—moments before he’s shot dead. Shaken by the tragedy, Lara escapes into her alcohol addiction; the haze only lifts when the Black Ghost’s uniform mysteriously appears in her home. Inspired, she escalates her efforts to expose Creighton’s underworld and eventually discovers evidence that indicates a vast conspiracy involving local businesspeople, police, and politicians. When her enemies prove that they’re not above targeting Lara’s loved ones in an effort to scare her off, she’s left with no choice but to take matters into her own hands and seek justice through whatever means necessary.
