VERDICT Cassidy (Stalker in the Storm) releases this first novel in the “Marsh Mysteries” series, and fans may notice similarities to her earlier series, the “Swamp Slayings.” The marsh is vividly described, and readers will enjoy returning to this intriguing setting.
