Realm of Thieves

Escaping a dragon-worshipping cult after the death of her parents is not the most difficult thing Brynla Aihr has ever done. She now steals dragon eggs from a dangerous island rife with magic and peril. The magic contained within the eggs is traded like gold, as it can enhance humans with supernatural abilities—except for Brynla, who relies only on her dog, her luck, and her years of experience. Her lack of extraordinary ability just might be what leads her to being kidnapped by a rival egg dealer, Andor Kolbeck, who needs Brynla’s help in order to avoid an arranged marriage and try to win back the favor of his difficult father. Andor blackmails Brynla and promises her a life safe from the reach of the dragon cult, but this is just the beginning as they set off to find the rumored egg that can bring immortality.
