A tricky legal case—and their mothers’ matchmaking—bring a pair of star-crossed lovers together in Grace’s second “Midsummer Sisters” novel (following Your Heart Only). The legal case is trickier and full of deceit, requiring them to strategize together and bring in their families to help. There are some minor inconsistencies: the timeline leading up to Dani’s getting stuck in a particularly dangerous situation is confusing, and Jason’s thick, shoulder-length hair (mentioned several times, often in connection with his Black and Indigenous family) is not reflected on the cover.
