McKenna (How To Marry a Bad Boy) finishes her “Dynasties: Tech Tycoons” series with one final marriage-of-convenience story. Heiress Ronnie Moss thinks she’ll have no trouble fulfilling her family’s marriage mandate since she’s already engaged. But a last-minute heel turn from her fiancé leaves her needing a replacement groom. Wes Brody is happy to step up, but Ronnie doesn’t know he has a secret connection to her family and a less than altruistic reason for wanting to be close to her.
VERDICT As in previous books, the conclusion might be a little quick and ultimately convenient, but McKenna’s character work and writing allow it to feel earned.
