In this book, millionaire yogi and self-described guru Sadhguru offers a logical continuation of previous works. His goal here is to demystify the complex and often misunderstood concept of karma. The book is broken into three parts to help readers better understand how they are entangled in karma and how to break free from it, along with frequently asked questions on the topic. Each section includes a sadhana to allow readers to reflect via suggested activities. Sadhguru relies on his characteristic storytelling style to illustrate each of his claims with a noticeable air of confidence. Avid followers will delight in this book and the several sutras throughout, but some readers may be put off by his sweeping claims and occasional contempt for traditional scientific rigor, especially when he discusses the overlap between karma and mental and physical health.
VERDICT A must for devotees of Sadhguru. This work will also be of interest to those trying to explore the complex topic of karma in a more conversational form. However, readers seeking an academic exploration of karma may want to consider other resources.
