Ishmael Jones and his partner, Penny, usually spend their time protecting humanity from otherworldly threats, but Penny would like one normal weekend. They accept a dinner invitation from new owners Albert and Olivia Calvert for the grand reopening of Tyrone's Castle, an old Cornish inn where Elliot Tyrone poisoned townspeople in 1886. When Olivia goes to fetch the dessert, she disappears, and the other guests discover that their cell phones and car keys are gone. Ishmael is convinced that there is a more earthly reason for these spooky events. Then, one by one, other members of the party vanish, despite Ishmael's orders to stay calm and stick together.
