VERDICT Monroe’s (They Drown Our Daughters) honest and thoughtful contemplation of the horrors of postpartum depression is as big a draw as the visceral dread of the suspenseful thriller/horror hybrid storyline. A perfect choice for fans of motherhood-framed psychological horror like Such a Pretty Smile by Kristi DeMeester and Just Like Mother by Anne Heltzel.
