British crafter and workshop presenter Davidson (author of the
Peas and Needles blog about weaving, punch needle, and macramé) offers 20 projects that can be made of air-dry clay or polymer clay. She writes that making time in a busy day for creative work can leave one feeling happier and calmer. The projects are simple and designed for all ages; learn to make flower pots, vases, jewelry, or wall decorations. The book also includes recipes for homemade air-dry clay, with different combinations of glue, cornstarch, and water; lists of tools and other materials; and examples of and directions for different sculpting techniques. It should be noted that as a British publication, this book has some British-specific terminology and employs metric measurements.
