Catch and Keep

Former park ranger Maren Laughlin, who has recently been dumped, returns to her favorite Northern Wisconsin summer resort town, where she has inherited a decrepit bait shop. As the floundering Maren tries to rebuild her life, she doesn’t expect to fall for her older brother’s best friend, Josiah Cole, a single dad of two young children who is struggling in his own right. Full of heart, heat, and affecting emotional depth, Hahn’s novel is a cozy and relatable friends-to-lovers romance that balances the warmth of the couple’s developing relationship with more serious topics, such as parental abandonment, autism, and gaslighting.
