Rowan Townsend has graduated culinary school and is cooking at her mother’s restaurant, Smothered in Love. Frustrated by the small space and limited menu, Rowan enters her family into a reality television competition for teams of family chefs. The winners will get the restaurant of their dreams: Rowan is set on a new French bistro to showcase her talents and ideas; she’s at odds with her mother, who loves tradition and wants none of Rowan’s proposed changes. Life seems to be looking up when Rowan learns that her culinary school nemesis Knox Everheart and his family—including his Michelin-starred chef father—have also gotten a spot in the competition. Rowan knows that as long as she can keep her head in the competition, her family can win. So why does the hunky and talented Knox keep appearing in her fantasies? And why does her heart speed up every time he’s around? Cooking and competition have suddenly become blazing hot.
