Sunny has sold her first screenplay to the Hope Channel, but she needs inspiration to meet her deadline. She decides to go to Christmas Notch, VT, as her screenplay is based on a legendary Christmas miracle that occurred in the town. Isaac is a former boy band member and the newest owner of the town’s historic mansion. Despite still grieving his dead wife, Isaac has to fulfill his contract and record one last holiday album. When Sunny and Isaac find themselves sharing a bed in a frozen motel, sparks fly. Sunny moves in to help Isaac with his search for a muse, and Isaac promises to help her track down the real story behind the miracle. Murphy and Simone transport listeners back to wintry Vermont for the final installment in their “Christmas Notch” series (following A Holly Jolly Ever After). Holiday cheer meets raunchy adult humor, told with the authors’ infectious signature style. Joy Nash and Zachary Webber narrate Sunny and Isaac, balancing the steamy romance with emotional depth and a sensitive examination of grief. The narrators deftly play off each other, landing jokes and double entendres with ease.
