The use of multiple narrators enhances Landay’s (Defending Jacob) latest and will have listeners fully invested in Jane’s story. A production well worth the listen.

Fans of Megan Goldin and Hank Phillippi Ryan and those who like open endings, complex plots, stories about family dynamics, and convoluted whodunits will devour this novel.

Grover Gardner does an excellent job reading the audiobook. He captures the insolence and dignity of Andy's dysfunctional father, Laurie's hopelessness, and Andy's determination to exonerate Jacob.
