House on Fire

Burke’s second “Ashes and Dust” series installment ends on a cliff-hanger, and trilogy readers will be anxiously awaiting the next. Hudson and Wes from the “Not Dead Yet” trilogy feature prominently in this title, so libraries that own that series will also want to collect this one.

All Fired Up

A sure bet for Burke’s fans that would also be a good fit for readers who enjoy Annabeth Albert’s “Hotshots” series.

The Dragon CEO’s Assistant

This latest installment in Burke’s “Golden Kingdom” series (after The Gryphon King’s Consort) is a heartwarming read. The relationship between Aidan and Nassim is built anew through the fiery pain of rediscovery of who each is alone, and what their love can achieve together. Highly recommended for fans of hot, paranormal romances.

Give Up the Ghost

Libraries where paranormal romances are popular should add this series.

Phase Shift

Zander and Felix are the center of the ensemble cast tramping across the galaxy in their latest action-filled adventure. The characterizations continue to explore the many faceted similarities and differences in human and alien beings. Libraries owning the series (e.g., Lonely Shore; Skip Trace) need to purchase this title to meet demand, but it's not a jumping off point for new readers.
