Physical therapist Serafina Perini learns that her new client is recently injured New England Razors hockey player Jordan Serenghetti, with whom she shares a past. Not only are they in-laws because of her cousin’s marriage to his brother, but during spring break in college, they had a brief encounter when he kissed her, but Jordan doesn’t remember her. He has a reputation for being a player, and Sera, who has her guard up high, is adamant that she won’t fall for him. When she gets into a car accident late at night and Jordan comes to her aid, the two end up passionately reconnecting. Sera eventually succumbs to Jordan’s charm, but when the media leaks a story about a scandalous event from his past, Sera questions whether Jordan’s intentions are real, or if she is just another one of his trophies.
VERDICT Readers will find the plot of this third “Serenghetti Brothers” entry (after Hollywood Baby Affair) thoroughly entertaining.
