LJ and SLJ Offer Temporary Free Access to All Digital Content During COVID-19 Crisis

We know that library workers need timely, accurate updates related to the COVID-19 crisis as it pertains to school and public libraries and the communities you serve, as well as the news, reviews, and information Library Journal and School Library Journal provides every day.

To better enable you to take on with the challenges ahead from wherever you are working today, we are offering temporary free access to the digitized editions of LJ and SLJ, as well as all the content on our websites. 

On the websites, you'll find a temporary full-access pass for all of our premium content created just for you. These articles and resources—usually available only to Premium Subscribers—are now freely accessible to all readers.

We are also providing free access to the digitized editions of our entire magazine archive, including the latest issue. From the homepage, click on "Access Digitized Edition" in the upper left-hand corner. 

For return visits to the authorized digital editions site, click on “Bookshelf” in the upper right-hand corner to read current and back issues of both LJ and SLJ. Please note that if you want to switch brands you will need to log out (the dropdown to do so is located next to the Bookshelf), then log back in from the new magazine's homepage.
