Christy Award Finalists

The 2010 Christy Award finalists have been announced. The nominees for First Novel include Christina Berry’s The Familiar Stranger (Moody), Jennifer Erin Valent’s Fireflies in December (Tyndale House), and Tom Davis’s Scared (David C. Cook). Finalists in the Contemporary Romance category are DiAnn Mills’s Breach of Trust (Tyndale House), Alice J. Wisler’s How Sweet It Is (Bethany), and Kaye Dacus’s Stand-In Groom (Barbour). Best Historical nominees include Jane Kirkpatrick’s A Flickering Light (WaterBrook), Lynn Austin’s Though Waters Roar (Bethany), and Tricia Goyer and Mike Yorkey’s The Swiss Courier (Revell). The finalists in the Suspense category are Terri Blackstock’s Intervention (Zondervan), Athol Dickson’s Lost Mission (Howard Pub: S. & S.), and Mark Mynheir’s The Night Watchman (WaterBrook).
