Another Bing Convert

July 3, 2009

Bert LahrI’ve been playing with Bing (Microsoft’s new search service) ever since learning about it not long ago, and I think I’m in love (again. Hmm. I seem to be falling in love with the newest, latest trends in online gadgetry. Oh yes! That’s right! That makes me normal!).

Bing replaces Live Search, which replaced MSN Search. The question in everyone’s mind, is of course, whether Bing has a chance up against Google and Yahoo.

Take a tour of Bing if you haven’t already, and try some searching. I have to admit I was jazzed when I did a search on my name, looking for images, and found what came up (although I’m not sure what the picture of Bert Lahr had to do with me… a puzzling algorithm there. "If I only had the nerve...?").

More as it happens, Bing-wise,

Cheryl
