May 16, Brooklyn: Dance, Dance, LIBRARY REVOLUTION!
May 13, 2008

Dance party this weekend, courtesy of The Desk Set, a literary group cofounded by Greenpoint-residing librarians Maria Falgoust and Sarah Murphy:
WHEN: May 16, 10:30pm–4am
WHAT: "Dance, Dance, Library Revolution," with DJ Jonathan Toubin
WHERE: Enid's in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (where Falgoust also works part-time)
WHO: "You don't have to be a librarian, you just have to dance with one!"
WHY: To support the national nonprofit Books Through Bars, which has been providing inmates with reading materials for the last 20 years. Trade in one new or gently used paperback dictionary or thesaurus for one free (Dewey Decimal-themed) drink.
