Did Library Sex Books Make Teenage Couple Frisky? Probably Not

April 20, 2009 Last week, at the same time the board of the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, KS, was deciding to keep four sex-related books on the shelf, it also was penalizing a teenage couple who got a little too frisky inside a library study room.

That juxtaposition generated a large amount of commentary on the Topeka Capital-Journal web site. One of the many comments:

Last night I was eating at Annie's Place in Gage Center, when I saw a young male-female couple coming out of the men's restroom together. I didn't take the opportunity to question them, though.

I don't think there were any books anywhere around for them to grab, only menus. Wonder which entree, side dish or dessert inspired them?
