True to its name, Innovative Interfaces Inc. (III) is marketing a catalog interface designed for wireless devices. AirPAC allows anyone with an Internet-enabled cell phone or PDA to search a library's catalog from anywhere. According to III, users can maneuver through "the OPAC, browse titles, and peruse bibliographic records or item lists." III incorporates XML technology to supply data to the device's web-browser, and XML documents are converted into HTML pages specifically formatted for them.
