Editor's NoteWant to brush up on copyright law, and how it governs the use of library materials? Yesterday, the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard and eIFL.net co-released an online course titled "Copyright for Librarians." There are nine modules in the curriculum, covering everything from copyright scope to activism. It's meant to be used as either a self-guided course, or as a supplement to classroom instruction. Let us know if it helps you catch up on copyright fundamentals, and as always, enjoy the Newswire.—Josh Hadro, Editor, Academic Newswire |
