On October 13, fantasy author Neil Gaiman (@neilhimself) launched the world's first audiobook to be generated via Twitter with these words: "Sam was brushing her hair when the girl in the mirror put down the hairbrush, smiled & said, 'We don't love you anymore.'" A forthcoming BBC Audiobooks America title will begin with that sentence and include the next 1000 tweets by contest participants. It will release before the holidays as an hour-long downloadable product (narrator TBA as of press time) available for free at www.bbcaudiobooksamerica.com/trade as well as through iTunes and other audiobook retailers.
